This was my very first ATC. I made it for the theme of Quilting Bee for the Heirloom Stamping Show in Allentown, PA in 2011. I made it in memory of a close friend's mother who passed away from breast cancer the year before. It took quite a long time to make. I sewed a small quilt to put onto the card, which included batting in each square. The girl is all free-hand and her hair is made of yarn. Her fingers are made of beads. The image of the mother is from a CTMH stamp and has glass effects over it. I kept the card instead of handing it in to the Heirloom group because of the sentimental value. It reminds me of the past happier times and I will always treasure it.
Rip Eileen. You are loved and missed greatly.
